There is a mass of research being conducted around the world into the beneficial effects of hydrogen, particularly in medical settings. Much of this is highly specialised and not directly relevant for those who are generally healthy, but we can see the trend, and the likely future importance of hydrogen inhalation for both medical and well-being therapies. Here is a very small selection of research papers.
According to a 2018 study, published in the Journal of Acute Medicine and Surgery, molecular hydrogen may be of benefit in critical care medicine, as well as in the management of chronic diseases including metabolic syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis and neurodegenerative diseases. Studies have also shown that hydrogen can be of benefit to healthy athletes. A 2015 review in the International Journal of Sports Medicine states that hydrogen supplementation can actually increase VO2 Max and increase stamina. Additionally, according to Dr. Tylor, clinical research suggests that hydrogen showing promise in the treatment of dementia and Parkinson's disease, and can even boost even memory and concentration:
